Alife Sessions- Drake
This guy is about to make a lot of money. Regardless of whether or not you like his music, you have to understand how much has been invested into Drake doing well. He has 10 executive producers on his album, and they are some of the industry’s most powerful people. Last night, he was the latest performer to participate in the Alife Sessions. The night turned into more of a listening party with Drake performing occasional verses over his own records while A-trak was DJing. Dope album, dope artist…will be interesting to see how he develops over the next 10 years. I’m looking forward to some good music, if nothing else. Lots of giddy girls and women, drinks by Crown Royal Black, lots of weed. Met up with the homie Hip-Hop (Hip-Hop Since 1978). This brother is responsible for so many of the top artists but he still acts like a regular brother from the block, I appreciate him for that. When Drake stopped the show to shout him out, he was in the middle of breaking down a Dutch. Another dope night for Alife Sessions. Congrats guys. Hit the jump for some shots of the Lower East Side regulars doing what they do best, being cool.
Thanks to the homie Chris “007″ Barnett for inviting me.
*sidenote: why is Drake throwing up Bloods (in picture)? Admiring Wayne gon’ get this boy in some unwanted trouble.
